The Saint Steps in was first published Liberty magazine (USA)
in four parts starting November 7 1942. First hardcover Crime
Club 1943. First hardcover UK H&S (light blue cloth, dated
February 1944), Canada Musson, 1944.
The Saint rescues a girl from kidnappers and pulls Europe back
from the brink of war.
