If Enter The Saint was a prequel to The Last Hero,
this is the sequel and is best read after it. Published
1930 undated, by H&S in the UK in a light blue cloth
binding, and in USA by The Crime Club in 1931 with a
change in title to The Avenging Saint. Pan books brought
out a paperback with the new title in 1949. The Saint is pardoned by the king for his crimes. |
