Sizzling Saboteur serialised in Flynn’s Detective Fiction 1943-44 as The Saint in Trouble is based on a wartime censored true story of a burnt corpse (explained in The Saint’s Choice of True Crime 1945). The Black Market first published in Black Mask magazine March 1944 as Murder Goes to Market has Simon on the trail of stolen iridium. Published in Pocket Book Weekly Dec 1945 as The Saint in Black Markets.
