First published by H&S 1934 in light blue cloth wrappers, and by Crime Club in USA 1935.
This book contains three novelettes, two of which had previously been published in The Thriller:
The High Fence, published June 16 1934 as The Man Who Knew. Simon Templar and Hoppy Uniatz annoy Junior Inspector Pryke while finding the mastermind who fences stolen goods;
The Elusive Ellshaw, published July 28 1934 as The Race Train Crime. Ellshaw’s widow is naturally distressed when she meets her late departed husband: and
The Case of the Frightened Innkeeper who hears ghostly trains at night and who doesn’t give Simon a warm welcome.

It costs £5.99 to download from the web, but because it is so large it could take a long time to download on a slow link.
It costs £6.99 on cdrom to anywhere in the World.
New edition contains lots more biographical, radio, TV, comics, non-Saint book details, etc. Buy it here now
