Leslie Charteris Follow the Saint

Leslie Charteris Follow the Saint

1966 edn Follow the Saint signed (twice!) "To Dick" by Leslie Charteris.This was purchased by me from Dick's son. It is not in great condition, but not bad. I am told that Dick worked in the Welcome Hotel Stratford upon Avon, & Leslie signed it on 12th November 1966 when he stayed there. Nice gift for the Richard in your life! £45.

At last the publishers (Crime Club USA 1938, H&S UK (blue cloth covers) and Musson Canada 1939) seem to have realised that the word Saint should be in the title to avoid need for future changes.

Contains three novelettes:
The Miracle Tea Party which first appeared in The Thriller January 29 1938 as The T.N. Tea Party;
The Invisible Millionaire from Black Mask June 1938; and
The Affair of Hogsbotham specially written for this book, published in The Thriller Dec 10th 1938 as The Saint on Parade.
I believe this also appeared as The Saint at Bay in Detective Fiction Weekly Aug 6 1938.

The above information was taken from my CDROM 'A History of the Saint books'
It is an ebook in pdf format and has over 200 pages full of information and over 600 pictures of my favourite cover art.
It costs £5.99 to download from the web, but because it is so large it could take a long time to download on a slow link.
It costs £6.99 on cdrom to anywhere in the World.
New edition contains lots more biographical, radio, TV, comics, non-Saint book details, etc. Buy it here now
